The Javits Center is fully accessible for those with disabilites. The following is extracted from the Javits Center website:

The Javits Center has sidewalk ramps, automatic doors at all street levels, restrooms and elevators accessible for persons with mobility impairments. Payphones are accessible and are equipped with volume and TTY capability for those with speech and hearing disabilities.

Motorized Mobility Devices may be used by people with mobility impairments subject to reasonable safety restrictions (e.g. exercising extra caution in busy locations such as loading docks and show floors during move-in and move-out periods).

Motorized Mobility Vehicles are available for rent at the Javits Center by clicking here.

A limited number of manually operated wheelchairs are available at no fee.

While no public parking is available on site, a limited number of parking spaces may be made available for customers with a valid Parking Permit for People with Disabilities issued by a government authority.

Service Animals (i.e. dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities) are welcome at the Javits Center — provided they are leashed or under similar control as appropriate. Trained miniature horses also will be permitted when possible in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Owners take full responsibility for their animals.
